Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant must hold a high school leaving certificate
  • At least two years of work experience is required.
  • Oil & Gas Industry Experience. Preferred OCTG Experience
  • The ideal candidate will be expected to ensure smooth running of the office as well as offering administrative support to the team.
  • The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized person, IT competent, Multi-skilled, able to multitask, a people manager with great communication skills to work in a multinationals organization.
  • Experience in arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
  • Experience in organizing events and conferences

Competencies:

  • Finance Administration – You will be required to raise purchase orders for our contractors Finance Administration – You will be required to check contractor invoices (with PM support) ensure payment
  • Finance Administration – You will be required to request purchase orders from our client Finance Administration – You will be required to collate and submit accurate invoices to client (with PM support)
  • Finance Administration – You will be required to order and receive equipment and consumables as necessary
  • Other Administrative Duties – To support PM with any other administrative duties Skills
  • Communication skills – You are required to have a high level of communication skills Organizational skills – You are required to have a high level of organizational skills Interpersonal skills – You are required to have a high level of interpersonal skills
  • Report writing – You are required to have the skills to do report writing
  • IT skills – Word processing, spreadsheets, email – You are required to have a high level of IT skills – including Word, Excel and email
  • Language – You are required to speak, read and write fluently in English
