Appliance World Ltd is one of the largest organizations in Uganda dealing in consumer electronics (refrigerators, microwaves, audio products, televisions, and washing machines), commercial air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, mobile phones, computers/network monitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate accounts.
- Coordinating with our design engineers and project managers to see that they quote on time and that they do not unintentionally ‘frustrate’ consultants or clients. Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up.
- Keeping in touch with and checking with consultants and main contractors’ site foreman to see that they are happy with our team and our project managers. You will be surprised to find out about ones frustration simply because you decided to ask.
- Meeting our corporate customers all the time formally and informally to ensure they are happy.
- Target new and existing accounts for new business. Prospect clients via sales calls, direct mail, email and networking events.
- Follow up on leads generated through employees, retail stores, research and promotional events.
- Work with suppliers to secure opportunity buys and availability of products.
- Analyze sales trends, track unit sales, and generate gross margin reports.
- Generate monthly budgets and sales forecasts.
- Participate actively in all daily sales and marketing meetings.
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Motivate and guide sales teams to improve performance and achieve set goal
- You are expected to use Nozbe by updating your tasks on a daily basis, all tasks allocated to you should be put on Nozbe and should be completed in the stipulated time.
- You are expected to be part of Debt Collection meetings at least once a week
- You are expected to give a report of Target sales Vs Actual sales on a twice monthly basis
- You will be involved in generation of quotations whether for tenders or general inquiries.
- You will be responsible for sourcing of local buyers as and when required
- You will be expected to put all your tasks in an excel sheet and you will be required to be consistent in updating the MD on every issue without fail
