Job Summary:  The Expansion Officer will implement expansion activities in line with the organizational expansion plan and big wins. Reporting to the Expansion Manager, the ideal candidate will support set up of new branches and operations, participate in recruitment and interviewing of CHPs, training and on boarding of the candidates(CHPs) and organizing the graduation activities. He/she should be committed to learning, and should be a proactive and a strong and consistent communicator.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identification and prioritization of areas for expansion
  • Screening of potential districts and sub counties and villages for Living Goods operations.

Mobilisation:

  • Pitch Living Goods model to local leaders and key influencers in every village selected.
  • Searching for potential training venues and provide relevant information about them.

Recruitment:

  • Organise and hold meetings with branch team in preparation for recruitment.
  • Organise, conduct recruitment sessions and manage recruitment data.
  • Provide a list of selected candidates to IT, Branch Team and Training Department
  • Coordinate attendance of all selected community health promoters/candidates.

Set up Branches: Suggest potential locations for Living Goods branch offices

Financial Management:

  • Make Field facilitation requisitions
  • Make recruitment requisitions
  • Propose community Health promoters transport refund facilitation during base training
  • Make monthly expense reports for expansion activities

Reports:

  • Make weekly 5/15 reports
  • Make monthly activity reports
  • Participate in expansion meetings

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Two to three years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Good analytical skills and experience in using various analytical software
  • Unimpeachable integrity
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for results
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and 3 or more local languages
  • Passionate about field work-flexible and willing to travel 85% of the project area
  • Experience in project management
