Job Summary: The Planning Executive will primarily harmonise advertising processes and operations for improved efficiency and effectiveness within the advertising department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure correct bookings are made daily from all advertising team
  • Confirm and proof read all incoming artworks before they are send to pre-press
  • Co-ordinate with designers and sales team on artworks needed for client approvals
  • Provide a proper entry book to facilitate planning at designing level and ease of reference for deadlines
  • Provide assistance to Planning Officer in regard to bookings made within each week
  • Ensuring all orders are correctly signed with all policy requirements observed in terms of discounts allowed, correct authority signatories completed before entering in to daily booking reports
  • Assist in sending daily booking reports to all managers in the department and credit control
  • Co-ordinate creatives, visual selling tools for all Business Executives by design teams to ensure deadlines and timely delivery

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Planning Executive should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Printing, Display or Design or a related field
  • Two years of working experience in a similar busy work environment
  • Accuracy
  • High sense of initiative
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, innovative and creative
  • Friendly and able to work independently and with a team
  • Flexible and willing to accommodate different tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge in IT office applications
