About Us:
Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) Ltd, established under the Petroleum (Exploration, Development and Production) Act and the Petroleum (Refining, Conversion, Transmission and Midstream storage) Act of 2013, is a wholly-owned limited liability company of the Government of Uganda. UNOC’s primary function is to manage the state’s commercial interests in the Oil and Gas industry and ensure sustainable resource exploitation.
Job Summary:
UNOC is offering Graduate Internship opportunities for a maximum of six (6) months – non-renewable contracts, targeting recent graduates aspiring to start their careers in the Oil and Gas industry.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Science in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, or any other relevant degree in Physical or Biological Science.
- Transcript copy from a recognized university (Bachelor’s Degree) is required.
- Minimum of a 2nd class upper degree, with a CGPA of at least 4.0.
- Minimum Credit in Mathematics and English at Ordinary Level (O’ level).
- Graduated not more than three years from the time of application.
- Excellent communication skills.
