Gulu University School of Business and Development Studies

The Faculty of Business and Development Studies was established in 2002 at the opening of Gulu University as the Institute of Human Resource Development. The Institute started with 4 academic programmes: Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Development Studies at degree level and Diploma in Development Studies and Diploma in Secretarial and Information Management at Ordinary Diploma level. Due to growth in the number of programmes, departments and disciplines of coverage, the Institute of Human Resource Development was upgraded to become the Faculty of Business and Development Studies in 2004.
