Job Summary: The House Keeper Supervisor will Supervise and maintain the hotel rooms’ cleanliness, comfort and tidy environment for the guests
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure guests are met with a feeling of welcome, comfort, and security,
- Provide the best accommodations rooms for our guests.
- Exceed expectations in all operations from cleanliness to customer service.
- Oversee the cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, stairways, and lounges
- Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
- Oversee the distribution of linen, towels and room supplies and replacement of dirty linens with clean items by the team
- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, mini bar in line with hotel policy
- Inspect and turn mattresses regularly, check all appliances in rooms to ensure they are working properly
- Monitor guest laundry bags and replace laundry bags and slips
- Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses
- Oversee delivery of requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- Follow all company safety and security procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Observe and report damage of hotel property
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- At least five years of working knowledge in cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- A mature stable person with settled family will be preferred
- Ability to meet performance standards without supervision
- Good communication skills / ability to listen and ask the right questions to gain clarification
- Integrity and high ethical standards
- Reliability and good time-keeping

- Adaptability, planning and organizing
