ISPD Fellowships for Developing Countries Students in Belgium 2017

The International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis is pleased to offer fellowships for developing countries students. These fellowships are awarded for awareness of peritoneal dialysis.

The purpose of the fellowship is to promote the awareness of peritoneal dialysis by encouraging qualified individuals to extend their knowledge and expertise of peritoneal dialysis by visiting a centre of excellence for up to 3 months.

International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) advances knowledge of peritoneal dialysis and promote the advancement of such knowledge through international scientific meetings and publications.

Course Level: Fellowships are available to extend the knowledge and expertise of peritoneal dialysis by visiting a centre of excellence for up to 3 months.

Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded in the field of awareness of peritoneal dialysis.

Scholarship Award: Awards are given for up to $3000 for 2 to 3 months of study. The funds are to be used to support travel and living expenses and for educational expenses during the visit to the host institution.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Applications are encouraged from developing countries. ISPD members, as well as non-members, may apply. From developed countries, only individuals younger than 40 years of age are eligible

Nationality: Applicants of developing countries can apply for these fellowships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement:  Applicants must have previous year degree.

English Language Requirement: Applicants must be fluent in English.

How to Apply:  Applicants can apply by post or email.

  • Applicants have to complete an application form, together with an application letter justifying the application, curriculum vitae, a letter of acceptance from the institution to be visited, and a letter from the home institution director/supervisor supporting the application via e-mail.
