Kampala University School of Nursing Library
The library is responsible for establishing rules of conduct to protect the rights and safety of library patrons, staff, and visitors and for preserving and protecting the Library’s materials, equipment and facilities and therefore ensuring that their use is effective, ethical and lawful and the actions of patrons, staff and visitors are not detrimental to the rights and property of others.
Enforcement of these rules will be conducted in a fair and reasonable manner. Library staff will intervene to stop prohibited activities and behaviors. Failure to comply with the Library’s established rules could result in expulsion from the library and violations could also result in the restriction or termination of Library privileges, including the use of Library computers and other equipments.
These rules are designed to ensure that Users and Visitors of the KU library obtain the maximum benefit from the resources and facilities of the Library.
Vision.
To become the referral centre in the provision of Information and knowledge in the Region and the World.
Mission.
To support the Educational objectives of the University through provision of resources both print and non print and disseminating them to academic staff, researchers, students body and the surrounding community.
