PhD ASSISTANTSHIPS IN PETROLEUM ENGINEERING AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION

The USAID Environment Management for the Oil Sector Activity aims at building the capacity of Ugandan citizens to mitigate and manage the impacts of petroleum development on the environment and biodiversity. To enhance achievement of this objective, Texas A&M University (TAMU) in USA is offering six Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) to suitably qualified Ugandans for the year 2017/2018. The GRAs leading to acquiring a PhD, are competitive and are offered by: a) College of Engineering; and b) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at TAMU.

To apply for the assistantships, candidates must take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) as well as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Both examinations can be taken in Kampala at ISBAT on Lugogo By-Pass Road near Forest Mall.
