About US:

The Tax Appeals Tribunal is established by an Act of Parliament to resolve taxation disputes between taxpayers and Uganda Revenue Authority.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Day to day administration of the registry.
  • Receive and process complaints/ applications from taxpayers.
  • Undertaking process service in the region.
  • Keep record of the Tribunal‘s proceedings.
  • Performing regional registry functions.
  • Any other duties as maybe assigned by the Registrar.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal applicant must a diploma in law.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in legal or court or tribunal work
  • Should be computer literate.
  • Basic working knowledge of tax laws and court procedures 25 -30 years old.
  • The successful applicant should be ready to commence work immediately.
  • The position is tenable on a renewable contractual period of three years subject to successful completion of an initial probation period of six months.
