About US:
The Tax Appeals Tribunal is established by an Act of Parliament to resolve taxation disputes between taxpayers and Uganda Revenue Authority.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to day administration of the registry.
- Receive and process complaints/ applications from taxpayers.
- Undertaking process service in the region.
- Keep record of the Tribunal‘s proceedings.
- Performing regional registry functions.
- Any other duties as maybe assigned by the Registrar.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must a diploma in law.
- At least 2 years’ experience in legal or court or tribunal work
- Should be computer literate.
- Basic working knowledge of tax laws and court procedures 25 -30 years old.
- The successful applicant should be ready to commence work immediately.
- The position is tenable on a renewable contractual period of three years subject to successful completion of an initial probation period of six months.
