Job Summary:  The Manager ICT Infrastructure will be based at Head Office and will report directly to the Head of ICT. He/she will be responsible for the System Administrator, Network Administrators, Infrastructure Officers and Service Desk Officer. He/she will be required to plan, develop and implement IT Infrastructural solutions that deliver corporate and service specific objectives that meet the strategic priorities of the Organization. .

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Providing infrastructural support for efficient functioning of Pride ICT systems.
  • Implementing priorities for the design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, Security, wireless implementation.
  • Ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery for business systems by maintaining a secure BCP/DR site.
  • Preparing proper documentation for infrastructure projects and negotiating with vendors, outsourcers and contractors.
  • Leading and managing the performance and development of all subordinate staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant for the Pride Manager ICT Infrastructure job opportunity must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Good grades in Mathematics at A’ level (Either A, B or C).
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCTP) and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
  • Should have a minimum of four (4) year’s working experience in a related field in a busy ICT environment, preferably a banking industry.
  • 2 principle passes at A Level.
  • Credit passes in English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
  • Having an ITIL V3 Foundation Level will be an added advantage.
  • Should be a good communicator with good analytical, administration, multi-tasking, reporting and interpersonal skills.
  • Should be mature, intelligent, diligent, with strong work ethics, integrity and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Should possess a strong personality of impact and influence that pulls colleagues together to build a strong team.
  • Should be an outstanding leader and change agent with the business acumen and the ability to foster a productive working environment.
  • He/she should not be more than 40 years of age.
