Job Summary:
The Manager, Investor Services will be responsible for overseeing the Custody, Registration, and Settlements teams, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. This role aims to achieve targets, maintain quality standards, minimize risks, optimize regulatory compliance, and enhance the client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Custody and Registration teams, ensuring operations comply with policies and regulatory standards.
- Oversee physical and electronic Settlements teams, focusing on operational efficiency and compliance.
- Implement effective controls to mitigate financial, reputational, regulatory, credit, and documentary risks associated with Settlement Operations.
- Lead and manage teams to maintain constructive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, directives, and STRATE rules.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of settlement systems and industry trends.
- Manage access and segregation of duties to comply with bank and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Commerce or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Custody and Registrations Operations.
- 1-2 years of demonstrated ability to identify and manage risks in Settlements Operations.
- 3-4 years of experience in leading and managing teams.
- Proficiency in client servicing, understanding deal or trade life cycles, exception handling, manual deal processing, and product knowledge.
- Expertise in query resolution, settlement process, and settlement systems.
