About the Role:
A leading Pharmaceutical Company in Kampala, Uganda, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will lead the marketing team, manage sales, develop strategies, and implement marketing activities to meet customer needs and company goals.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of four years in a senior sales and marketing position, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Education: BSc/MBA in marketing or business studies.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strategic sales and marketing capabilities.
- Strong negotiation and influence abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector in Uganda.
- Client and customer-focused approach.
- Solution-oriented mindset.

- Planning and organizational abilities.
- Financial management competency.
- Computer literacy.
- Integrity and personal commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales of products and services, and develop annual sales strategies and targets.
- Lead on sales and marketing analysis, policies, and strategies as part of the Senior Management Team.
- Conduct market research and intelligence for customer satisfaction.
- Manage client relationships and resolve issues.
- Monitor competitor activities and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Develop marketing and PR strategies, including social media and public relations activities.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with medical staff and health professionals.
- Regularly attend company meetings and stay updated with clinical data.
- Collaborate with accounting and sales departments for efficient order processing and product shipment.
Additional Requirements:
- The candidate should be under 35 years old.
- Must know how to drive and ride with valid permits.
- Ugandan or legally staying non-Ugandan candidates can apply.
