1.Target groups:

Candidates who have finished form four or above and any other person with introductory knowledge on Computer Applications.

Candidates from other courses (within and outside the University) who need to polish their computer application skills.

Staffs from Local Government Authorities, Government Ministries, Agencies and NGO

Practicing IT professionals with experience in networking administration, system administration and analysis and linux administration or anyone involved with information systems security, computer forensics, and incident responder. To attend this course a student must have a deep understanding of Networking and Network Security, Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and Mac OS X), programming languages and assembly language.

Students with diploma in IT, Computer Engineering and Computer Science are also eligible for the course. University students who are in 2nd year and above can also attend the course.

2.Mode of delivery: Hands on in the computer laboratory, Power point presentation, group discussions, group assignments, and individual practical exercises.

3.Registration and Payment: Registration shall be one week prior to commencement of the course.

4.Date and Time: all short courses are conducted from 1st of August to 30th of September each year.

5.Venue: All courses are conducted at MUST main campus in Mbeya city.

6.Mode of Payment: Pay to “Mbeya University of Science and TechnologyA/C No 016101002687 NBC before commencement of studies and come with bank receipt from bank during registration.
