Mityana Agro-vet institute is fully registered by The Ministry Of Dducation And Sports with Registration Number ME/VOC/064.It is also licenced by National Council for High Education, our Reference Number is NCHE/GR/OTI/86

The institute is based on the excellent training, learning, discovery and application of knowledge and creativity.

• Minimum Entry Requirement For Diploma Level

  The Uganda Advanced certficate of Education(A’level) with atleast a principal pass in Biology/Agric.
  OR A Uganda certificate of Agriculture with a credit pass in general tropical agriculture training insitute from a recognised agriculture training institute.
  OR A certificate from a national agricultural college or has passed all modules taught in the first level. May join the second year and spend only one academic year in the programme.

• Minimum Entry Requirement For Certificate Level

  Uganda certificate of Education (O’level), or its equivalent with atleast good passes in science subjects and mathematics and English is compulsory.

Award Given

Certificates students are awarded a National Certificate In Agriculture (NCA) by Uganda business technical examination board (UBTEB).
Diploma students are awarded a national diploma from Uganda business technical examination board (UBTEB).
