Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, evaluate and monitor the implementation of the projects including site visits when it is necessary
- Prepare project annual work plans, activity and monthly reports, monthly / quarterly / annual M&E report, etc.
- Tasked with developing an M&E system for the Project and coordinate the development of the project’s M&E guidelines
- Prepare baseline, mid-line and end-line survey; provide guidance and technical support for quality assurance
- Monitor quantity and quality of the projects
- Actively contribute to the preparation of different M&E meetings: steering committees, reviews, etc.
- Scale up and manage partnerships with Government ministries, other development partners, financial institutions, key private sector actors and other related organizations
- Prepare actions such as risk analysis and contingency planning and make recommendations
- Prepare and participate in related development partners‘ group meetings and produce reports
- Manage evaluation contracts and agreements
- Manage the projects, if necessary
- Maintain records on program activities, from formulation stage through completion, by extracting relevant information from MOUs’, Project proposals, reports, Project committees, budget records and other documentation
- Provide administrative support whenever required and perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Science, Economics, or relevant discipline
- Training in counseling
- A minimum of three years’ experience in M&E role with an international development organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis, project design, monitoring, and evaluation of development activities.
- Experience developing project design matrix (or result frameworks, logical frameworks, or similar tools for project design) is required.
- Experience using knowledge management software or database is highly desired.
- Experience in managing grants or contracts is also highly desired.
- Good computer skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office package and other applications of wide usage)
- Impeccable level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skill
