PRESS RELEASE TO MUHAS STAFF

 Mock Operation of the MUHAS Academic Medical Centre (MAMC)

The MUHAS management would like to inform the University Community that the Mock Operation of the Hospital at MAMC has begun today August 21, 2017. The Mock operation is intended to test the system, procedures and equipment and handle challenges that may arise before the official opening of the Hospital. This exercise will last for two weeks followed by the soft opening which is expected to start on September 4, 2017.

The MUHAS Community is requested to take note of this development which is the first step towards launching of the Hospital in September/October 2017. Heads of Departments are requested to supervise well the Mock operation and the subsequent soft opening to ensure that all challenges are tackled before the official opening.
