Mulago School of Nursing and Midwifery derives its mandate from the Universities and other Tertiary Institutions Act 2001, to conduct courses or programmes in Diploma Nursing, Diploma Midwifery for direct students and Diploma Registered Comprehensive Nursing for Extensors.

Ownership

Mulago School of Nursing and Midwifery is a public training institution and is owned by the Ugandan Government under the Ministry of Education and Sports.
