MUST – UTAMU Business School Phd Course Application Procedure

  • Interested Students are supposed to complete and submit a Request to Transfer Credit Evaluation form.
  • Students will need to attach their proposals, any publications so far published and a recommendation letter from the institution they wish to transfer from.
  • Once the form is received by the MUST- admission office, the evaluation for transfer will start and the student will be contacted if any additional information is required.
  • The student’s proposal and publications will be given to two reviewers competent to supervise such student’s work
  • The reviewers will be asked to assess the proposal and publications if any for relevance to the MUST-UTAMU PhD programme, potential to contribute to knowledge in the given knowledge domain, quality of the content of the proposal and completeness
  • For a student to qualify for transfer, the proposal must be found complete by both reviewers
  • The review of the publications will assess if they contribute to the completeness of the proposal in case it is found lacking in one or more of the required areas.
  • The transfer evaluation process will take approximately 4 weeks from the time the request is submitted. Therefore students who aim to join a particular intake should take into consideration this duration so that it does not impact on their anticipated enrollment.
  • Once the evaluation process is complete, students will be notified in person about the results through the contacts provided.
  • MUST-UTAMU reserve the right to accept, reject or make any recommendation about the transfer request.
