PROCEDURE FOR SECURING ACCOMMODATION IN THE SECOND SEMESTER AT THE MAIN CAMPUS
1.All students who secured accommodation during semester one will secure the same accommodation i.e same hall of residence and room number immediately after accomplishing registration procedure before 14 days as stated in the accommodation policy.
2.Students who did not secure accommodation during semester one including those returning from practical training will secure limited accommodation places left by staggered semester students on first come first saved basis. Special cards will be issued to the needy students at the Directorate of Students Welfare office.
The respective cards correspond to the available accommodation places. Therefore the needy students should pick the accommodation cards daily from 9.00 am to 11.00 am from Monday 20th March 2017 onwards. Please come in person with your Identity card and filled registration form approved by accounts and your faculty or school. Once you are assured with accommodation you will continue with payments for accommodation and follow the procedure for approval in the accounts office. Lastly you should return the card and approved registration form to the accommodation registration office for registration and issurance of accommodation facilities.
3.Registration for accommodation facilities will be done at the following offices.
i.Karume hall office for Kingo, Kibasila, Karume and Kunambi hall.
ii.Mama Maria Nyerere hall office for Mama Maria Nyerere, Nyirenda, Ushirika, A.1 and Tangeni halls.
iii.Gwao building; (Garage) for Mkwawa, Kimweri, Mirambo, Cabral, Buguruni, Matola, Sophia and Vikenge halls.
iv.Warden office at Sankara Square building for Kinjekitile hall.
