Ndejje University Retains Karate Championships

Ndejje University has retained the John Okurut Memorial Karate Championships title for a third year in a row.

The university won the annual championship after bagging four gold, four silver and three bronze medals respectively in individual kumite and individual kataat Lubiri Secondary School, Kampala.

Luzira Secondary School finished in second position with 1 gold and 1bronze,Makerere University was third on the medal table with 1 silver while hosts Lubiri SS, fourth with 1 bronze medal respectively.Find results below.

The annual championships attracted 10 teams which included Lubiri SS, Luzira SS, Makerere University, Mbale Club, Kyambogo University, Nile Shotokam, Busia Club, Eastern Club and Entebbe Club.
