Master of Arts in Project Management
The Masters degree in Project Management is designed for graduates of any field of study. The course provides participants with the opportunity to study project planning and management at a broader and advanced level. Special emphasis is placed on both the practical and theoretical aspects of the discipline. The course is suitable for all people working in Public Service, NGOs, and Private Sector Agencies, and other organisations. The course is offered for a period of two years including research.
Studying Project Management at Nkumba University enables participants on the course to apply the acquired skills to succeed as a project manager in following ways:
(i)Assess project requirements
(ii)Manage project human, material, and financial resources effectively
(iii)Plan strategies, staffing models and goal-setting for a project
(iv)Identify milestones and recognize when projects are at risk
(v)Provide acceptable accountability for all project activities
(vi)Incorporate an international perspective in global projects
