NM AIST Study Opportunity in South Korea 2017 – 2018
The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST)incollaboration with Seoul National University (SNU) are running the center of Innovative Technology and Energy Center (iTEC) at NM-AIST campus. The center has planned to offerstudy opportunities for the highly qualified Mechanical Engineers who are interested to pursue M.Sc. and PhD in Manufacturing Engineering and Renewable Energy.
Eligibility:
1.Must be a Tanzanian citizen
2.M.Sc. applicants must have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum G.P.A of 3.8, whereas PhD applicants must possess M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited university with a minimum G.P.A of 4.0.
3.Applicants must have outstanding academic records in science subjects at Advanced and Ordinary secondary level
4.Musthave good command of English language.
5.Applicants for PhD and M.Sc. must be not more than 40 and 35 years old, respectively.
Application Procedure & Required Documents:
1.Complete application in one pdf file that includes motivation letter (maximum two page), certified copies of certificates and transcripts, up to date curriculum vitae, a list of publications in accredited journals and a letter of recommendation from employer/supervisor, must be submitted via email to alfred.muzuka@nm-aist.ac.tz.
2.Applications should enclose a brief (not more than five pages) outline of the research proposal highlighting the problem statement, its relevance to iTEC, the method of investigation and a preliminary work plan.
3.Application deadline: 31st July 2017
4.Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
5.Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
Face-to-Face Interview:
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interview early August 2017. Further information regarding scholarship will be provided thereafter.
