About US:
The Leadership Code (Amendment) Act 2017 established the Leadership Code Tribunal, consisting of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and three other Members. For effective performance of the functions of the Tribunal, the Act provides for a Registrar of the Tribunal, other Officers and Staff as may be necessary. Section 19 A (2) provides that the Officers and staff of the Tribunal shall be appointed by the Public Service Commission, on terms and conditions determined by the Public Service Commission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing and monitoring appointments;
- Taking dictation, transcribing and presenting accurate and error free work.
- Attending to callers, either in person or on telephone;
- Managing office equipment such as fax machine, photocopying machine and computers;
- Supervising staff under his/her care;
- Requisitioning and managing office stationery;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding:- EITHER: An Ordinary Level Certificate with at least two (2) Credits including English Language and 3 passes plus UNEB Certificate or Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution with the following subjects: Business Communication Stage III , Typewriting Stage III Shorthand Stage II (80/90 WPM), Office Management and Computer Skills using several packages such as Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Data- Base Management.
- Possession of qualifications and skills in shorthand Stage III, Principles of Accounts II, Commerce II, and Certificate in Public Relations and knowledge of using various office machines such as fax, photocopiers and audio equipment will be an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience as Personal Secretary in Government or from a reputable organization. OR An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
- Applicants should have computer skills using several packages such as processing Spread Sheets and Data- Base Management.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Knowledge of Kiswahili or French or Germany or Arabic and use of audio equipment and various office machines such as fax and photocopiers will be an added advantage.
- Applicants should have at least a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience as Personal Secretary in Government or from a reputable organization.
