NUST Bachelor of Public Management Honours
The Bachelor of Public Management Honours is an initial postgraduate specialisation degree that is purposefully designed to equip students with deepened and systematic knowledge and expertise in the public management discipline, as well as develop their capacity to conduct supervised research of an applied nature. The programme’s main emphasis is on the evaluation and application of public management theories and public sector data in order to solve complex problems that face the public sector and civil society organisations, while also catering for the needs of the private sector. Students are required to complete a combination of compulsory and elective courses, as well as a Mini – thesis.
In order to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Public Management Honours, candidates must have a Bachelor of Public Management or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution worth at least 360 credits at NQF Level 7.
Holders of the Namibia University of Science and Technology’s National Diploma in Public Management, as well as the National Diploma in Public Administration, will be considered for admission.
