Job Summary: The Officer, ATM and Devices will support the execution the ATMs (approx. 180 ATMs) and Devices (Bulk Note Acceptor, Recyclers, Self Service Kiosk and any future devices to be rolled out) strategy by providing the administrative function, channel reporting, project management and ensuring that the regulatory and statutory compliance is adhered to.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Channel functionality management
- Track effective execution of ATM strategy and projects against strategy along agreed key metrics and provide reports to PBB stakeholders
- Monitor ATM uptime in order to provide line of support and coordinate the resolution of ATM issues, coordinate different stakeholders involved in resolving and maintaining uptime of ATMS (e.g. procurement, IT) to resolve ATM issues within SLAs. Escalate to Head, Digital Banking and other stakeholders where necessary
- Monitor and track adherence to service levels and performance with the relevant Service Managers, ATM Custodians and/or service providers or vendors
- Support the creation business cases and benefits metrics for the channel functionality and track implementation and roll out
- Support innovation in line with Customer needs on the channel with a view of having a very versatile channel for the customers
- Manage the supply and replenishment of ATMs through the Cash Centre
- Track, record and report counterfeit notes and incorrect crediting of customer accounts
Channel functionality development and project management
- Act as ATM & devices project representative in projects or project forums in order to provide input, identify requirements, support L&D in content development and training, change management, ATM & Devices stream management. Conduct UAT, provide input into functional specs etc.
- Support the development and implementation of ATM channel projects and other related projects.
- Coordinate all the stakeholders involved in project development and project implementation to get alignment.
- Support the business operational and commercial readiness of new initiatives, including customer and staff awareness/ trainings, adoption and behaviour change readiness.
- Assumes ATM channel subject matter expertise for enterprise wide projects. This includes compliance and business projects. Partner with L&D to provide training support to ATM custodians and relevant external providers.
- Develop of business cases, benefits tracking and realization of ATM channel projects
- Cascade MIS information to the relevant stakeholders to drive customer migration behaviour.
- Track the performance of the ATM and devices to ensure consistent uptime and in accordance with the business appetite.
- Keep abreast with the latest industry trends to support innovation on the channel
Customer migration and retention
- Partner and collaborate with ATM custodian, Branch Manager and other branch roles to make sure that ATM targets are achieved in alignment with ATM strategy and operational plans.
- Be available on site to participate in the implementation of campaigns on the ATM and Device channel.
- Support the achievement of the ATM uptime targets
- Ensure maintenance and servicing of ATMs are done on time
Vendor Management
- Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement.
- Monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organisational strategic direction, changes and challenges. Manage the relationship with third party vendors (e.g. Security Group) for offsite ATMs
- Liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary
Compliance
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Control Framework, establishing standards and controls and maintaining product governance and policies to ensure regulatory requirements are met and to optimize and sustain the distribution channel operations and achieve business objectives.
- Accountable to develop tools and performance metrics to identify areas of non-compliance and work with internal partners to rectify the gaps in order to deliver a consistent customer and employee experience.
- Report non-compliance and any process deviations from the vendor SLAs
- Interact with internal and external bodies such as Risk management, Internal Audit, Legal Services regulations and other industry bodies in order to maintain a sound compliance and risk free environment in the digital banking space.
- Reconciliation, risk and audit for correct account settlement
- Manage ATM sites in order to make sure that ATMs and the sites are maintained as per pre-defined specs; confirm if site is fit for purpose; and coordinate post installation site maintenance as per compliance requirements.
- Facilitate the process to decommission ATMs and other devices as per defined strategy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Officer, ATM and Devices should have three to four years of experience in Digital Banking
