Job Summary: The Drop Shipping Specialist operates a type of retail business. Essentially, the drop shipper takes orders from customers and passes those orders on to a supplier. The supplier then ships orders to the customers. In this sense, the drop shipper is a middleman like any other retailer, although the job is different in practice from traditional retail operations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Drop Shipping Specialist should have previous experience working as a shopper marketing manager ideally in a similar category OR experience in running profitable online stores such as Shopify, Bigcommerce, Magento, etc.
- Extensive retail experience and an understanding of what motivates shoppers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effective across all departments.
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to make things happen.
