Job Summary:
Xclusive Uganda seeks a proficient Plumber specialized in installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with specific expertise in irrigation systems, including leak repairs, pipe installations, and conducting system inspections. The main goal of this role is to prevent system breakdowns, minimize downtime, and maintain budgetary constraints on maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various irrigation systems.
- Conduct regular system inspections and comply with manufacturer guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Use tools and equipment proficiently for plumbing tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and plumbing codes.
- Manage inventory levels and report on material/spare part needs promptly.
- Work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Diploma or equivalent experience in Plumbing and Irrigation Systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
