LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them to realize their potential, to build on their assets, and to respond to their own problems and needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in Pader, Kitgum, Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the day to day management, quality assurance, and reporting of the LWF/CLWR Project, in line with the approved project documents and signed cooperation agreement. The Project Manager will supervise a team of 3 Project Officers, 4 field extension workers, and 10 incentive workers in Adjumani and Moyo Sub Programs and will coordinate with relevant Sector- Heads to implement the CLWR project
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Project Manager job opportunity should have significant professional experience as project leader or manager, preferably in internationally funded projects
Prior exposure and experience with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and budget management
Experience working with refugees or displaced peoples or similar experience
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent English report writing and communication skills
