Uganda Police Training School Kabalye Child and Family Protection Course

This course is conducted in recognition of the prevalence of sexual and Gender based Violence and criminal incidences of child abuse in many parts of the country and its devastating impact on women and children especially persons with disabilities as well as in families and communities. The concept of Child and Family Protection came into existence in 1995 to contribute to the Uganda Police’s mandate of securing life and property with public in a committed and professional manner in order to promote development.

Target groups are: In service officers who are:-

Disciplined
Motivated and committed
Knowledgeable

Course Objective:

To equip the officers with the skills, knowledge and attitudes that will enable them to promote harmony between the police and public and the society generally.
