Uganda Police Training School Kabalye Crime Intelligence Foundation Course

This course is intended for personnel with no previous experience in intelligence gathering and processing.

It is aimed at equipping the officers with necessary knowledge, skills, techniques and competences required to be good crime intelligence officers

The Objectives of this course are

Generate and provide intelligence to support and guide police operations and investigations
Analyse crime, crime trends and patterns to assist the police in fighting crime
Profile and circulate particulars of known wanted and habitual criminals.
Establish an effective computerised crime data system to assist in analysing crime.
Work with other relevant security organisations in ensuring security of VIPs, major functions, vital government installations, border points etc.
