Job Summary: The Receptionist will provide support to the Health Centre by carrying out a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The receptionist will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the organization. The incumbent will also handle the flow of people through the facility and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- The jobholder will answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, reconciling stock taking and procurement of office supplies etc
- Other administrative tasks working alongside the Medical Administrator & Inventory management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Receptionist job opportunity should hold a Diploma in a relevant field
- At least two years of working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities
- Computer literacy skills i.e. proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional appearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
- Fluency in Luganda, writing and speaking English
