About US:
The Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB) is a body corporate established under the Lotteries and Gaming Act No. 7 of 2016 which came into effect on 8th April 2016. The Act is supported by a set of 5 Regulations which came into effect on 28th May 2016. The law mandates the Board to regulate the operations of lotteries, casinos and betting houses (Industry).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tasked with receiving, registering and classifying records;
- The jobholder will opening files for keeping classified information and closing when due;
- Tasked with routing of information and mails to officers responsible for action;
- In charge of auditing records and record systems periodically in the district;
- Responsible for organizing and administering information in the registry;
- Handling Confidential matters as prescribed
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB) Records Officer job opportunity should hold an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized Institution;
- At least five years’ experience in a reputable and busy organization.
- Good records and information management skills
- Concern for quality and standards;
- Working knowledge and proficiency in Information Communications Technology;
