Job Summary:
The Regional Programme Associate (RPA) will play a vital role in managing a diverse project portfolio, ensuring effective execution, coordination, and compliance. The RPA will work across SIHA country offices to facilitate high-quality program execution, collaborate with finance and support teams, and assist in crafting work plans, reports, and other documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SIHA Country Office staff for high-quality program execution.
  • Facilitate coordination among finance, support teams, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating work plans, reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Support research and documentation to showcase program achievements.
  • Provide regular program updates and formulate recommendations for enhancement.
  • Ensure project visibility and effective communication.
  • Work with advocacy and communication teams for program-related activities.
  • Organize and record periodic meetings to track program progress.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for program coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with SIHA policies and guidelines.
  • Represent SIHA externally as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Graduate degree in relevant fields such as International Human Rights, Law, Gender Studies, International Relations, Development Studies, or Social Sciences.
  • 3-4 years of experience in women’s rights, gender equality advocacy, and coordination.
  • Knowledge of the Horn of Africa context, especially challenges facing women and girls.
  • Experience in project/program management and outcome analysis.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage a significant workload.
