Job Summary: The Section Head Electrical will support the production process of EUL by improving plant availability, plant health and increasing asset life through application of good leadership and electrical engineering practices aimed at meeting the overall EUL business strategy
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes Design work
- Performs technical duties
- Delivers standardization output
- Contributes to the integrity of the asset base
- Consults on discipline related issues
- Administration
- Supervises engineers in area of responsibility
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Eskom Section Head Electrical job placement should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Compulsory Professional registration reputable body: Registered Engineer with Uganda Engineers Registration Board.
- Five years of practical and related work experience as an Electrical Engineer in a hydro power plant is an added advantage.
