BRAC boasts of promoting financial inclusion by extending financial services to the un-served and underserved, now with over 212,000 borrowing clients, over 150Bn loan book with 98% recovery rate, operationally and financially self sustaining.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating BRAC’s information security policies and programs, setting procedures and guidelines to ensure that all information systems are functional, secure and safeguarded throughout BRAC and are in compliance with privacy, customer trust and information security laws and regulations applicable to financial institutions.
- Direct and manage the IT Service continuity management area by managing and supporting business continuity management and disaster recovery (DR), as well as work area recovery (WAR) processes.
- Enforce and track compliance to technology policies and procedures.
- Track, report and mitigate IT risks such as vulnerabilities, cyber attacks etc.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the BRAC IT Security Manager job placement should hold a Degree in computer science or related field
- At least three years of experience in IT security and risk management area, solid experience in cyber security controls and incident handling.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience invulnerability scanning and auditing tools, Enterprise-scale network and host-based IDS architectures, Enterprise scale firewall architecture, secure messaging architecture.
- Strong in information security, audit and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to communicate security related concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge of banking regulations
- High degree of self-motivation
- Good leadership skills.
