Short Course Awards for Africa: The Australian Government offers short term Australia Award opportunities and training workshops available for African nationals.

A range of Short Courses and training workshops have been developed.

These are available in the following fields:

• Agriculture
• International Diplomacy
• Mining
• Organisational Development
• Public Private Partnerships
• Technical and Vocational Education and Training Policy
• Reform and Teacher Skills Upgrades
• Trade Policy, Analysis and NegotiationUp to 400 places will be available to experienced employees from African public, private and civil society organisations.

  Applications from Africans wishing to undertake a short course in the available fields, will open on September 1 and close mid-January.

  Successful applicants will have costs covered, including air ticket, visa expenses, accommodation, living allowance and Workshop/Short course tuition.
