Soroti Flying School Admission
Minimum Qualifications and Tution Fees
A minimum of 2 principal passes at “A” level and one of them has to be either Maths or Physics.
The Government subsidizes the tution fees for nationals who pay $18,000 for the full 2-year course while the international students pay $36,000.
The fees, according to Lodiong, are the lowest for any flying school in the world. He attributes this to way back in time when the school was set up.
“The fees were set when the aviation fuel prices were low, (actually) less than a dollar, and now the fuel prices have tripled to $3 per litre”, he says. “However, the simulator is helping us cut fuel costs because it uses power which is cheaper.”
