Soroti Flying School Airport Operations Course

Fees: USD 420

Duration: 6 weeks

Minimum Requirements for Pilots:

A Level: 2 principle passes. Physics, Mathematics and Geography are advantageous.

Minimum requirements for Engineering:

Principle passes in A Level Mathematics and Physics

 

Fees Payment

A. Fees are payable to the Academy’s bank account in Uganda Shillings at the prevailing exchange rate.

B. Fees are inclusive of tuition, full board accommodation, uniform, scholastic materials, basic medical care, and sundry items.

C. Fees may be paid in installments as per following schedule:-

1st Installment: USD 220

2nd Installment: USD 200

D. The entire course must be completed within the stipulated duration. Any additional training time required beyond this will attract a surcharge calculated on a pro-rata basis.

F. The timely completion of your course will largely be subject to your timely payment of fees in accordance with the schedule given above.

 

Holidays

Our training programmes are continuous except during weekends, public holidays, and a short break over the Christmas/New Year season.

Recreation in the form of indoor and outdoor games is provided.

Medical care for minor aliments is provided at the academy clinic. Major illnesses will be referred to the government hospital. Private hospitals may be visited at the student’s or sponsor’s own cost.

The academy is located at Soroti Airport on the edge of Soroti town approximately 400 kilometers north-east of Uganda’s capital Kampala, and 150 kilometres by road from the Uganda-Kenya border.

Annual admission dates are 1st week of March and 1st week of September.
