Soroti University SUN Uganda Admission Requirements 2024-2025

Soroti University, SU Uganda admission requirement 2024-2025 for all the courses at the undergraduate, diploma and postgraduate level is updated every year. Therefore, this article contains the full list of all the undergraduate courses and Postgraduate courses coupled with their general requirements.

For admission into programmes of study at the Soroti University, SU Uganda, an applicant must have the following requirements for a successful admission.

SOROTI UNIVERSITY, SU UGANDA UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

The following are the requirements for admission to Degree programmes:

The minimum entry requirements for admission to a bachelor’s degree programme are
For direct entry:

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE); and
At least 2 principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

For mature age entry:

25 years of age and above; and
Must have passed mature age entry examinations with 50% mark and above.

ORDINARY DIPLOMA PROGRAMME

The minimum entry requirements for admission to an ordinary diploma programme are:

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes; and
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with 1 principal pass and
2 subsidiary passes obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.

ORDINARY CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME

The minimum entry requirements for admission to an ordinary certificate programme is a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 3 credits obtained at the same sitting.

Minimun Entry Requirement for Master’s Degree Programme

For a master’s degree, a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent

Minimun Entry Requirement for Doctorate Degree Programme

For a doctoral degree, a master’s degree or its equivalent.
