Admission & Registration Guildelines
Admission to Stafford University is entirely on merit and on the basis of ability to achieve. The University operates an admissions policy which ensures equality of opportunity to all applicants. Applications are welcomed from students with excellent academic potential and the university recognizes the importance of admitting applicants to a course suited to their ability and aspirations. The selection process therefore takes account of all aspects of an application and not just an applicant’s academic profile.
How to Apply
Application forms can be picked from the main campus at a cost of 40,000 ugx. We have an enrollment office that offers carrier guidance to applicants and gives information about the course of interest and Stafford. Forms can also be downloaded from the university website.
Admission Requirements for direct entry
Admission to the Programme is done in accordance with the Stafford University entry requirements for a Bachelors’ degrees are such that: a candidate is eligible for admission to the Programme on meeting our requirements:
Academic Programme Registration
- Students who have been officially admitted to the University shall be registered for their programmes and subjects by the Department during the first two weeks of their first semester of the first year of study. The Department may accept any late registration upon proof of unusual circumstances for delay.
- Students are required to submit to the Secretary of the Department their authority cards issued in the Registrar’s office and a passport size photograph for the registration.
- Students may not attend classes for which they are not officially registered except for public lectures.
- Students who wish to change their course programs must reapply to the Academic Registrar and fill forms for change of course program in the first 4 weeks of course admission.
