About US:
Horyal Investments Holding Company Ltd has commenced the process to operationalize a leading new sugar factory at Atiak Uganda, East Africa. The Factory is jointly owned by the Government of Republic of Uganda ,with annual production capacity(APC). 60,000 Tonnes of granular sugar.
Job Summary: The Stores Head will implement tools that aid in monitoring, analyzing and reporting, inventory and oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. .
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely receipt, invoicing and dispatch of goods.
- Develop a risk based counting plan, monitor trends and propose recommendations for appropriate action.
- Conduct periodic inventory level analysis and categorize the items to avail information on threat of stock out threat of over stocking threat of expiry in relation to over stocking and items being dormant and share findings with the Procurement unit for appropriate action.
- Review bin accuracy, establish the counts, identify items for full counting and conduct periodic and prompt investigations to establish any variances.
- Ensure that perpetual inventory counts are carried out, reconcile physical stock count results with the system inventory figures, investigate any discrepancies and submit reports to facilitate management decision making.

- Carry out periodic reviews and analysis of system data, and generate reports on key performance indicators including service level, stock availability, items on high/low demand, obsolescence, stock turnover/stock days.
- Track periodic sales of the various stock items and report on observed trends for management decision making.
- Ensure that purchase invoices are accurately entered in system and maintain effective record keeping.
- Ensure that goods are stored in appropriate storage conditions and that guidelines regarding good storage and distribution practices are adhered to of all times.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization and minimal harm. • Safeguard stores operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and reporting any irregularities.
- Supervise and motivate staff in the unit and build their capacities in line with the Ecopharm’s strategy and policies.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as may be required as part of the role. Key Performance Indicators:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant must hold at least a Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, Pharmacy or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, logistics and supply chain management or a related field is an added advantage.
- At least two years working experience in a busy warehouse.
- Very good data management and strong analytical
- Proficiency in MŞ Office and ERP
- Inventory control skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
