Strategy Manager, Customer Retention Jobs – M-KOPA

Job Summary: The Strategy Manager will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and high-priority projects within the Customer Retention team. This role involves conducting research, developing commercial and financial models, supporting strategic growth areas, and ensuring the effective implementation of strategies to enhance customer retention and value.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research and analysis to develop and implement M-KOPA’s customer retention strategy.
- Building commercial and financial models, including product, sales channel, marketing, and pricing strategies.
- Supporting strategic growth areas through customer segmentation analysis, market analysis, partner landscaping, and running pilots/experiments.
- Developing performance metrics and coordinating with product and data teams to define and measure KPIs.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operations and processes on the Customer Retention team.
- Acting as a liaison between product and operating teams to ensure effective training and adoption of software and tools.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, business operations, management consulting, investing, product management, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to solve open-ended business problems, from identification to implementation.
- Collaborative attitude with a low ego, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Results-focused and self-motivated.
- Emerging markets experience, particularly in East, West, or Southern Africa, is advantageous.
