Tanzania Innovate and Learn Grants
Voice is currently inviting groups and organisations for its Tanzania Innovate and Learn Grants to test and scale new approaches with a focus on human-centred innovations that are very context-specific.
Voice is a new innovative grant facility that supports the most marginalised and discriminated people in ten low- and lower-middle income countries in Africa and Asia.
It aims to amplify and connect thus far unheard voices in efforts to leave no one behind.
Funding Information
Innovate and learn grants are available from €5,000 to €200,000 on a rolling basis.
Focus of the Project
- Improved access to (productive) resources (finance, land and water) and employment improved access to social services, health and education in particular
- Space for political participationTarget Groups
- Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence
- People Living with Disabilities
- Age-discriminated vulnerable groups, notably the young and elderly
- Ethnic minoritiesProjects that describe effective intersectionality with more than one target group stand a better chance of being funded.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant/lead-applicant (where application is by a consortium) registered as a local entity under the laws of Tanzania with a bank account in the name of the organisation.
Applicant/co-applicant(s) – (where application is by a consortium) recognise the core values of Voice being the equal rights for every human being regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious belief, disability, sexual orientation, social class and age.
