The School of Engineering provides Certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas in the different Departments listed under Departments below. These qualifications are offered with City & Guilds in the UK. City & Guilds which has been in existence for over 120 years offers these qualifications in more than 100 countries around the world.

The qualifications are awarded after thorough assessment of candidates to ensure that they have acquired and mastered skills that are based on world-class standards set by industry. This is possible because of the wide range of countries and length of time that City & Guilds is operating to suite the world-wide need for high quality assessment and certification.

For IT qualifications, the College is working with the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), also in the UK.  For a overview of ICM programmes, please go to the School of Management and Business Studies.

Department of Civil Engineering

Department of Electrical Engineering

Offers Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications in Electrical Engineering. To see the various subjects and course contents please go to the Calendar under Key Documents in the Management option in the Home page.

Department of Mechatronics Engineering

Offers Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications in Electronics Engineering. To see the various subjects and course contents please go to the Calendar under Key Documents in the Management option in the Home page. In addition to these, the Department offers short courses in Motor Mechanics. If the market indicates the need, the department will offer qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.

Department of Computer Science and Information Technology

Offers Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications in IT in collaboration with the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) in UK.
