UDSM Library Reference Collections

The Reference Collection provides help to students, faculty and staf. It is open at 08.00 from Monday through Friday and closes at 16.00 hours. On Saturdays, it operates from 08.00 to 13.00 hours and remain closed on Sundays and Public Holidays. Reference staff assists patrons in the location, use, and understanding of information resources, teaches effective search techniques, and trains in the use of library resources. Services are provided in person at the reference desk, and by telephone, email, and chat. Users may also make an appointment for a consultation with a librarian.
