Uganda Management Institute Postgraduate Diploma In Monitoring and Evaluation (Evening)
Rationale:
According to the PEAP Review process 2007/8, it has been noted that Sub-Saharan African performance lags behind compared to Asia due to the slower pace in the implementation and execution of sectoral policies to convert resources into actual development spending and real investments. This therefore requires a formal policy implementation and monitoring plan with an accompanying ‘best practice’ guide to implementation and monitoring. This process can only be possible with adequate capacity in monitoring and evaluation across the government structures from the Ministries through to the Local Government structures at the district and community levels.
