Uganda Management Institute Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Governance and Management (Weekend)
Rationale:
Trends in decentralization and rapid urbanization have posed greatest challenges in the delivery of urban services against the background of limited resources in urban local governments. To make urban centres liveable, manageable and sustainable requires urban managers that are professional equipped with technical competencies in the urban management field. The diploma comprises of 12 modules: 4 basic, 6 core and 2 electives. Participants may complete the whole course within 2 semesters of continuous study or by completing its modules over a period of 3 years. Participants who will successfully complete the course with at least second class pass may be admitted to the Masters in Management Studies (MMS) Degree programme (Urban Governance and Management option)
