UNAM Visual and Performing Arts Department

The department of Visual and Performing Arts in the Faculty of Humanities and social Sciences build knowledge in musical science, drama and visual arts. Subjects that are taught in the department range from acquiring knowledge in music, Video production, music technology (recording) acting, theatre development theatre movement studies , voice and speech, directing, painting , fashion photography and ceramics.
The department offers courses that are part of the BA degree in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students registered in our department can major in one of the three sections mentioned above in the department. Each section of the department also offers a diploma and also Masters degree in performing arts and visual arts.
